These days, North Korea is constantly trying to get help from multiple countries like China, America and more to become an official country.
North Korea has been going through a very hard time economically and politically since America has been sending ships and troops near the coast of North Korea to prevent North Korea from trading with other countries.
This is one of the reasons why North Korea is so poor economically considering that they can’t trade.
However, Kim Jong Un the dictator of North Korea is recently meeting up with Donald Trump, the president of the United States, to make a deal, let North Korea be an official country and free North Korea from all the trading restrictions.
Kim Jong Un made several nuclear missiles and threatened the United States which led to North Korea and the United States having great tension between them.
One time, North Korea was testing their nuclear weapons and it caused a huge chaos in Japan according to CNN.
This was due to the testing missile went over the Japanese land and also caused chaos in Hawaii since there was a ballistic missile alert which turned out to be fake.
Eventually, Kim Jong Un made a statement that he is willing to meet up with Donald Trump to make a deal to free North Korea from trading restrictions.
As soon as Trump hears about this, without hesitation, he says,“Tell him Yes” about the meet up with Kim Jong Un according to WSJ.
It turns out that this was a huge improvement to world peace because so far the flow of the situation is going good and some people say that there might be hope for North Korea giving up their nuclear missiles in return of freedom. However, this is still undecided which means that people are still arguing about it.
Another thing that is going well is the relationship between North Korea and America. Seven months prior to the meeting, Kim Jong Un called Donald Trump “old” and in response to that, Donald Trump started calling Kim Jong Un “the Rocketman”.
However, these days they are now friends with each other and Donald Trump even went as far as calling Kim “Positive and polite”.
Therefore, if this meeting goes well, hopefully, North Korea will give up the nukes and end the Korean War.
